The Susquehanna Township police officer was busted in a sex act just before midnight on one of the greens at the Country Club of Harrisburg golf course in Harrisburg, Pa., The Patriot-News reported Wednesday.
Eric B. Nelson, 42, was in the back seat of his Toyota Tundra truck with Kerri E. Maxwell, 29, when state police interrupted their May 26 twosome.
Nelson, a 15-year veteran of the force and military veteran, was off duty when he was observed "engaged in adult acts," police said.
"I am confident (Nelson) is not defined by this, and he will grow from this," Susquehanna Township Public Safety Director Robert Martin told the Patriot-News. "He has all of my support."
