Golf Master Tips, Timberlin Golf CLub Hosting Golf Events for Children - Timberlin Golf Course in Berlin is hosting a series of events geared towards youth golfers. The first is a set of one-hour clinics which are designed for junior golfers of all skill levels. The clinics will be divided into two age groups, one for kids ages 9-13 and another for younger golfers from 5-8.
The Timberlin professionals will conduct golf clinics that will feature full swing, chipping, putting, on-course instruction, and etiquette lessons. If juniors do not have golf clubs, Timberlin will provide them.
The sessions run July 13-16 starting at 10 a.m. for the older golfers and 11:30 a.m. for the younger players. Each session runs for about an hour. There will be another session from Aug. 17-20 at the same times.
Timberlin will also be hosting more intensive junior golf camps this summer. These two-hour golf camps are designed for junior golfers that are intermediate to advanced players. This series of lessons will include instruction, as well as golf etiquette, strategy, and on-course playing. Some prior experience is required for these clinics as there will be time spent on the course itself.
The cost of the camp is $150 for the week and sign-up and payment (cash or check only) can be made in the Golf Shop or by calling (860) 828-3228. This camp will be broken up on site into two age divisions, 8-10 and 11-13, and space is limited to the first 20 who sign up in each group.
