Clancy's Mini Golf Course (Golf Master Tips) -  The course at Clancy's isn't just fun for putters. It also offers a good backdrop for photo opportunities, according to Ness.

"During prom, a lot of the prom kids come out in their formals and play golf," Ness said. "Every once in a while you get a wedding party to come out."

The course is a popular spot for group outings for all ages, Ness said. The Lowell Senior Center has a mini-golf league that plays every Wednesday morning on the course.

Play on the 18-hole course at Clancy's picks up on weekends, so the course is closed on Mondays for maintenance. In addition to offering miniature golf, Clancy's has a driving range, batting cages and a gift shop.

The course hasn't changed a lot since Ness bought the course in 1999. He replaces the green carpets every five years or so.

"That's about it," Ness said.
