Seventh annual Golf Tournament for The Arc of Atlantic County 

Hosted by the I. Rice & Company Sept.17 at Linwood Country Club. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Proceeds benefit The Arc, which provides services for people with developmental disabilities in our community. Cost is $175 and includes awards luncheon. Atlantic Cape Community College Scramble “Fore” Scholarships Golf Tournament 

12:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9at Cape May National Golf Club. Proceeds benefit student scholarships and foundation operations. Chris Ford of Margate, a former Holy Spirit High School basketball player and head coach of the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks, will be the featured guest. Cost is $150 per person or $500 per foursome and includes a gift, lunch and awards dinner. Skills contests include closest to the pin and longest drive. Sponsorship range from $125 to $5,000.
